Bentley has taken the covers off its newest concept model at the 2015 Auto Shanghai. Called the EXP 10 Speed 6, the concept shows the future direction of Bentley in terms of luxury and performance.
Bentley says that the EXP 10 Speed 6 is a British interpretation of a high performance two-seater sportscar. Looking at the pictures, we can’t help but agree that it carries all the noticeable Bentley design cues such as the large oval headlamps, chrome mesh grille and front forward hood heavy stance. The side profile gets heavily flared wheel arches which give the EXP10 a rather tough stance but in an elegant British way that defines the Winged B’s design philosophy.
Inside, the concept gets a two-seat racing tub style cabin is finished in a mix of leather, shiny metal surfaces and digital screens.
Commenting on the concept’s Chinese debut, Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, says, “Following on from its global debut last month in Geneva where it was the star of the show, the EXP 10 Speed 6 is now here in China, our second biggest market, to share our vision for Bentley’s future. In China, Bentley is the leading luxury car brand. With the updated style, luxury and performance features across the Bentley range for 2015, we are confident that our Chinese customers will continue to demonstrate great passion for our brand.”
Besides the EXP 10 Speed 6, Bentley has unveiled a range of design upgrades and features to its Continental family of luxury sedans in Shanghai. The updated line-up includes the Continental GT, the Flying Spur and the Mulsanne.
