Bentley Bentayga V8 launched in India for Rs 3.78 crore

Bentley Bentayga V8 has been launched in India for a starting price of Rs 3.78 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the petrol version. The luxury SUV comes fitted with all the bells and whistles, along with a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine. The luxury SUV can be had with a range of customisation options to suit personal taste. 

Under the hood, the new 4.0-litre, 32-valve, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine produces 542bhp of power at 6,000rpm and 770Nm of torque between 1,960-4,500 rpm. Mated to ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox that powers all- four wheels, the SUV is capable of sprinting from 0 -100 kmph in just about 4.4-seconds. The top speed has been electronically restricted to 290kmph. To gives it a sporty appeal, the Bentayga V8 gets stylish twin-quad exhaust pipes along with the optional carbon-ceramic brakes. Although, the SUV gets 21-inch wheels as standard, customers can opt for 20-inch or 22-inch wheels, along with a range of 11-wheel designs.

The vehicle gets a muscular design with four round LED headlamps to the large matrix grille, the Bentayga V8 exudes the Bentley design DNA, while the overt powerline, large rear haunches and raised ride height reflect the rugged off-road ability of the luxury SUV. The black and chrome grille completes its sporty stance. As for the interior, new styling features include a wood and hide steering wheel and the introduction of a high-gloss carbon-fibre interior panel finish. Additionally, customisable options include hand cross-stitching, which highlights the interior styling lines of the seats and door panels, and there is the choice of the Bentayga’s four-, five-, or seven-seat configuration, for ultimate versatility. Moreover, cricket ball leather makes its debut in the Bentayga V8. The evocative new colour is inspired by the traditional and instantly appealing deep chestnut hue of a new cricket ball, and fits perfectly into the inspiring range of 15 interior colours and five colour splits offered by Bentley.
