Bentley’s first ever luxury SUV – the Bentayga, is expected to arrive later this year but before the grand unveiling, the vehicle has been spied again. This time in Dubai. Wearing minimal camouflage, the highly awaited model was seen at a fuel station near an airport.
This supposedly ground-breaking SUV is said to combine Bentley’s renowned luxury with off-road performance usually associated with full-size luxury SUVs.
Bentley initially previewed the Bentayga with the EXP 9 F concept back in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show. However, the concept received heavy criticism for its controversial design. The Bentayga, then, is expected to don a much more appealing design, as seen in these latest spy pictures. The SUV carries all the traditional Bentley design cues such as the massive grille, the quad headlamps and the wide oval tailpipes.
Bentley has announced that the Bentayga will be revealed later in 2015, followed by a launch sometime next year. The Bentayga, inevitably, will take on the current crop of ultra-luxurious SUVs like the Range Rover and the Porsche Cayenne.
