Audi reports a boost in their sales figures worldwide. This number has increased by 11.7 per cent in comparison to the previous year’s sales numbers.
The global sales for the Ingolstadt-based automaker have attained this hike owing to the great demand of cars across the world. Audi AG delivered 1,24,850 cars around the world. This resulted in a growth of 3 per cent in America, 7.8 per cent in Europe and with deliveries increasing in the Asia-Pacific region as well, the sales boosted by 17.6 per cent in that region.
Luca de Meo, Member of the Board of Management for Sales at AUDI AG, said, “We seamlessly built on the 2013 record figures in January and are taking this momentum into the New Year. Our goal is to continue our growth in 2014 and develop more strongly than the worldwide overall car market.”
Edit: There is some discrepancy in the domestic sales numbers. We will reconfirm from our sources about the sales in India and bring you the exact figures once confirmed from Audi.
