Audi India is all set to launch their most powerful wagons in India, the Audi RS6 Performance, on 14 March. The RS6 Performance, as you can guess, packs more performance than the RS6 Avant and some tweaks to harness the extra power.
For starters, the RS6 Performance is powered by the same 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 motor but this one develops 45bhp more, taking the power output tantalisingly close to a whopping 600bhp. That is a Ferrari 458 Speciale under the hood of your wagon that can haul five passengers and all their luggage on a weeklong trip.
It comes with premium Alcantara leather upholstery, separate-zone climate control, power seats and all the luxuries that come standard with such performance-luxury supercars. It is also gets a panoramic sunroof, intelligent LED headlamps and a bunch of driver aids to harness the performance.
The RS6 does not really have a competitor in India if you look at the performance, but if you like wagons, there is always the Volvo V90 and also the upcoming Mercedes E-Class All-terrain to look out for.
