Audi India in November had announced that it will hike the price of all its vehicles by up to five per cent and has now provided more details on the exact prices. The hike will be in the range of Rs 59,000 to Rs 3.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be effective from January 1.
The revised prices are as follows Audi A6 2.0-litre TDI Rs 40.86 lakh; Audi A8 L 3.0-litre TDI q: Rs 91.29 lakh; Audi Q3 2.0-litre TDI q: Rs 27.90 lakh; Audi Q7 3.0-litre TDI q: Rs 58.84 lakh; Audi S4 3.0-litre TFSI q: Rs 48.49 lakh.
Commenting on the hike, Michael Perschke, head of Audi India, said “As we have stated earlier, the overall market scenario is challenging. The rise in input cost, depreciating rupee as well as continuous increase in fuel prices have made us re-evaluate our pricing strategy in India and increase the prices of our entire model range. However, we are offering our customers customised and innovative finance options from Audi Finance which will make their purchase more attractive.”
