Audi has played a major role in Marvel’s new Captain America: Civil War film. Its range of new vehicles have taken up the role of escorting various fictional heroes as they fight to gain glory for their side.
Firstly, making its Hollywood debut is the Audi prologue, as the show car belonging to Black Panther/T’Challa, played by actor Chadwick Boseman. Robert Downey Jr, a.k.a Tony Stark, a.k.a Iron Man drives the latest Audi R8 and this time in the V10 plus Coupe guise. The main character, Captain America played by Chris Evans, catches a ride in the new Audi SQ7. Other vehicles in supporting roles include the new Audi A4 Sedan and the Audi A7 Sportback.
Commenting on the alliance, Giovanni Perosino, head of marketing communications AUDI AG said, “Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War is another good strategy fit for the Audi brand. This film showcases futuristic technologies and other powerful resources, including Audi vehicles like the new performance SUV Audi SQ7. These legendary heroes, much like Audi models, demonstrate leadership, high performance and pure fun to fans and moviegoers worldwide.”
Captain America: Civil War will open to screens in India on May 6.
