Audi Sportscar Experience launched in India

Audi has launched a unique programme in India called the Audi Sportcar Expericence (ASE) at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. The one of its kind initiative will provide automobile enthusiasts an opportunity to understand, drive and receive intense training in Audi’s top-of-the-line sportscar, R8 V10. 

The Audi experience package is priced at Rs 98,000 to Rs 1.25 lakh, which will offer lap training modules with internationally acclaimed instructors, at an international standard racing circuit in the 5.2-litre Audi R8 producing 525bhp. Audi plans to conduct ASE every month till the end of 2012 – dates will be confirmed soon.

The Audi Sportscar Experience is a two phase programme – Audi racetrack experience and Audi racetrack experience advance. The racetrack experience focuses on sharpening a driver’s skills such as handling, steering, braking and sector training on a race-track, under the guidance of an instructor. On the other hand, the racetrack experience advanced focuses more on understanding the racing line, over and under steering and regularity tests to master the entire race circuit. Only those who successfully complete the racetrack experience program and are deemed eligible by Audi training instructors will be allowed to move up the ladder and secure a seat in the second level of the program.
