German automaker Audi showcased a diverse range at the 2016 Auto Expo. This line up included the Prologue concept, new A4, RS7 sportback and the all-new R8 supercar of which the latter three will make their way to India as a part of Audi’s plans to launch 10 vehicles in India in 2016.
The Prologue is the design study and concept car for the next generation A8 luxury limo while the new A4 and RS7 sportback will launch in India within the next few months. Possibly Audi may be scheduling the R8 for the festive season. The SUVs were quite absent save for the SQ5 which was on display a little away from all other cars at the stand.
It also showcased the S3 cabriolet, A6 all-road. Buoyed by the success of the A3 cabriolet and RS6 Avant, the German automaker is now contemplating both cars for the Indian market.
In addition to these, it also showcased the A8L high security in a private booth behind the main event arena. This latest high security version has VR9 level of protection and will be offered for sale shortly.
