Audi RS5 Sport edition revealed

Audi’s V8 powered luxury coupe – the RS5 has just received a new limited edition model. Called the RS5 Sport, this new edition gets exterior design upgrades and a more luxurious yet sporty looking cabin. 

Design wise, the RS5 Sport’s exterior is accentuated with 20-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, the cabin features RS embossed sport seats, with contrasting red stitching on the armrests. Other luxurious inside include leather-wrapped steering wheel and premium quality leather door inserts. 

The Sport edition retains the standard model’s high-revving 4.2-litre V8 and the 7-speed S tronic transmission with launch control. The naturally aspirated V8 engine delivers 450bhp of power, allowing the RS5 to accelerate from zero to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds. 

The RS5 Sport edition has been developed by Audi’s performance division, quattro GmbH. The brand has revealed that only 75 units will ever be produced with each carrying a base price of $87,575 (Rs 55.40 lakh).
