- To be powered by a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8
- Will compete against the Lamborghini Urus SE
Audi India is gearing up for the first launch of the year with the introduction of the facelifted version of the RS Q8. This performance-focused SUV will be a lot meaner, pack in more features, and offer better performance over the standard Q8. The prices of the SUV are set to be announced on 17 February, 2025.
On the outside, the updated RS Q8 will get a revised grille with a honeycomb pattern, along with a carbon-fibre finish on the front spoiler and air vents. The performance version of the Q8 will likely get an option of 22-inch and 23-inch alloy wheels.
Mechanically, the Audi RS Q8 will come bundled with a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine capable of producing 640bhp and 850Nm of peak torque. The motor will be configured with Audi’s Quattro AWD system along with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. In this state of tune the RS Q8 can sprint from zero to 100kmph in just under 3.6 seconds.
Upon its launch, the Audi RS Q8 will directly compete against the Lamborghini Urus SE, Aston Martin DBX, and the Porsche Cayenne GTS in India.
