Audi presented the Prologue concept last year at the LA Auto Show which gave a look into the brand’s future design language. Four months later, the brand is about to reveal a variation this concept at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show
Called the Prologue Avant, this new concept previews Audi’s future estate design. It uses technology which is close to series production and comes equipped with the plug-in hybrid drive from the Q7 e-tron quattro. The 3-litre TDI engine and the electric motor develop a combined output of 455bhp and 750Nm, allowing the concept to sprint from zero to 100kmph in 5.1 seconds.
The Prologue Avant has a claimed pure electric range of 54 kilometres. Standard hardware, meanwhile, includes adaptive air suspension and an all-wheel-drive steering system with which the rear wheels can be inclined by up to five degrees for better handling and high-speed stability.
Besides the Prologue Avant concept, Audi will also be revealing the all-new R8 at next month’s Geneva Motor Show.
