- The Q6 e-tron could be introduced by the end of the year
- It is likely to be offered in a single fully loaded variant
Audi has started testing the new Q6 e-tron in the country ahead of its launch which could take place by the end of the current calendar year. The spy shots reveal a single unit of the test car that was completely uncamouflaged.
The Audi Q6 e-tron in question is a left-hand-drive unit, and compared to the model sold internationally, it gets minor visual differences including silver inserts on the front and rear bumpers and a set of new alloy wheels.
A few other notable design elements of the new Q6 e-tron include matrix LED headlamps, blanked-off grille, OLED taillights, roof rails, shark-fin antenna, integrated spoiler with high-mounted stop lamp, and an LED light bar on the tailgate.
Inside, the 2024 Q6 e-tron features a 11.9-inch driver’s display, which is commonly known as virtual cockpit in Audi’s terms, 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.9-inch display for the front passenger, new steering wheel with touch-based controls, augmented heads-up display, and a three-tone interior theme.
Under the hood, the Audi Q6 e-tron is propelled by a 100kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors. The battery, which can be charged from 10-80 per cent in 21 minutes with the help of a 270kW charger, is claimed to return a range of 625km on a single full charge.
