Audi India has officially launched the Q5 TFSI petrol in India for the price of Rs 55.27 lakhs (ex-showroom,India). The mid-level executive SUV from the German carmaker is available in two trims - Technology and Premium Plus.
Powering the new petrol Q5 is the same gasoline engine under the hood of the Q7. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder TFSI engine produces 250bhp of power and a healthy 370Nm of torque. It comes mated to the seven-speed dual clutch transmission sending power to the quattro all-wheel drive system.
Feature wise, there are same levels of creature comfort and equipment as the diesel counterpart. So you get the Audi’s Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster as standard along with large infotainment screen on the centre console which gets the latest MMI system. The cabin comes loaded with panoramic sunroof, electric leather seats, parking assist with rear camera and three-zone climate control. Moreover, the SUV offers a large 510 litres of boot space and comes loaded with an electric boot opening, cruise control with a speed limiter, eight airbags and LED headlamps. The SUV sits on 19-inch wheels which can be upgraded to 21-inches.
The new Q5 TFSI will rival the likes of BMW X3 30i and Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 in the premium petrol SUV segment. The petrol Q5 variant is available in two variants -
