Audi India has launched its SUV the Q5 beginning at Rs 38.3 lakh. The Q5 will go head-to-head with cars like the BMW X3.
The Q5 has permanent quattro all-wheel drive and power can be chosen from either the 2.0-litre TFSI petrol with 211bhp or the 3.0-litre TDI with 240bhp. The former can acheive the ton mark in 7.2 seconds, while the latter is quicker with a claimed time of 6.5 seconds. Both versions get a dual-clutch seven-speed S-tronic gearbox.The Q5 promises to handle brilliantly on tarmac, and be competent off it. The petrol is priced at Rs 38.3 lakh, and the diesel at Rs 44.2 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai.
