The Audi Q5 was launched in 2008, and it is now time for a mid-life refresh. Besides the nip and tuck job that has it looking more aggressive (one-piece grille, daytime running lights that are a line rather than a string of pearls, bumper revisions) it also gets a few mechanical tweaks to keep it current with the times.
The hydraulic steering system is now an electric one, so it saves fuel; we hope that it provides comparable feel to the hydraulic unit it replaces. The engines remain the same, but there is now an 8-speed ZF transmission that will bump up both performance and economy.
The new Q5 has already been homologated in India, and you can expect a launch very soon.
