Audi recently launched a new special edition version of the Q5 called the 'Bold Edition'. This variant of the SUV is priced at Rs. 72.3 lakh and will be offered in limited numbers only. Here's all you need to know about the vehicle.
Exterior
The Q5 Bold Edition features cosmetic changes such as a high-gloss black grille with a black emblem. The black treatment continues for the window surrounds, ORVMs, and the roof-rails. Moreover, the special edition rides on 19-inch pylon style alloy wheels. Prospective buyers can choose from five colour options, namely District Green, Glacier White, Manhattan Gray, Mythos Black, and Navarra Blue.
Interior
The cabin of the Q5 Bold Edition sports Atlas Beige and Okapi Brown upholstery with piano black-coloured inlays. The SUV is equipped with a digital instrument cluster, three-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, powered front seats with memory function for the driver's seat, wireless charging, and a 19-speaker B&O sound system. The other features include eight airbags, LED headlamps, LED taillights, park assist with a 360-degree camera, and a panoramic sunroof.
Engine and gearbox
The Audi Q5 Bold Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 261bhp and 370Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a seven-speed DCT. This SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-100kmph in 6.1 seconds and has a top speed of 240kmph. It boasts Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive and six driving modes such as Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, Efficiency, Auto, and Off-road.
