Audi India took the opportunity to showcase the limited edition Q3 and Q7 at the launch of the new Q5 45TFSI. Called the Design Edition, both the SUVs will get additional equipment and styling updates. The Design Edition will have a limited production run and is expected to be launched soon in India.
The Q3 and Q7 Design Edition showcased at the launch event had special cosmetic updates. The Q3 finished in red paint scheme got a clear lens tail lights, body coloured cladding and Quattro decals on the rear doors. On the inside, there was Nappa leather upholstery, new LED display and a coat hanger at the rear seat. Audi will also provide a special leather wrapped key cover with the Q3 Design Edition.
The flagship Q7, on the other hand, had a unique green hue paint scheme. Contrary to the clear lense tail lights of the Q3, the Q7 gets a dark tinted LED units. On the inside, the rear passengers are provided with entertainment screens as well. Audi will also provide a special Audi Cool Bag with the Q7 Design Edition.
The special edition SUVs are expected to see a slight bump in their price tags. We expect them to be offered only on the top-spec trims. No specific date has been announced by the German carmaker, but we expect the launch to happen within next few months.
