The Audi Q2 was recently showcased in Milan, Italy during the Milan Design Week 2016. The car was on display at Audi's City Lab from April 11 to 17. Milan becomes the focus of the entire design world during this event. Audi left no chance to promote their upcoming new crossover and exhibited the vehicle at their City Lab.
There is no other design event around the world, which comes even close to what all is being displayed. It was a great idea to show off their upcoming vehicle at this exhibition.
Audi’s laboratory of ideas and designs was open for the entire week. Apart from the automaker's different ideas, the Q2 was the main centre of attraction.
The Q2 crossover made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show at the start of last month. The premiere created a huge excitement and Audi is banking on this to further promote their product.
The single frame octagonal grille is the trait seen on almost all new cars from the manufacturer. The rectangular shaped headlamps and sharp LED DRLs add to the flair.
The Q2 is the smallest SUV from the carmaker and measures 4,190mm in length, 1,790mm in width, 1,510mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,600mm.
It will be offered in three petrol and diesel engine options each. Transmission options include a standard six-speed manual with the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
For the UK market, bookings will begin in July this year and deliveries are expected to happen in November.
Let's hope Audi also introduces it to the Indian market knowing the rise in the demand of premium crossovers here.
