Audi posted a solid performance in September 2011 with a sale of 555 cars, thus recording a growth of 84 percent (September 2010: 302 cars). The luxury carmaker’s sales figure from January to September 2011 (YTD) stood at 4210 cars, a growth of 93 percent over the same period last year (January – September 2010: 2178 cars). “We launched six models this year and are focused at strengthening our dealership network not only in metros, but also in tier II & tier III cities. We recently inaugurated Audi Surat, our second showroom in Gujarat, and plan to expand our network from the current 14 centres to 25 locations by end of 2012."
