Audi opens bookings for new A8L in India; launch in December

Audi India has opened bookings for the A8L and will be launched in India in December of this year. It is expected to be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options and will most likely be locally assembled at their facility in Aurangabad.

This new A8L sports an evolutionary design and was derived from the 2016 Prologue concept. There’s loads of new technology both in terms of comfort features as well as safety options in the new A8 and it will be offered for the Indian market only in the long wheel base guise. When launched, the A8L will be first car to available for customisation via their new augmented reality programme.

The A8L is Audi’s flagship sedan and is a rival for the likes of the Jaguar XJ L, Mercedes-Benz S-Class as well as the BMW 7 Series.
