Audi has officially confirmed two new models in the form of the Q1 and the Q8 and plans to set new records in 2015. With more than 591,000 cars delivered in the first four months of this year, it looks like the German brand is on the way to surpassing its record sales of 1.74 million units in 2014.
This year’s progress will be helped massively by the new Q7 and the upcoming A4 that will be launched in the second half of 2015. In order to attract new customers, Audi plans to systematically expand its model range in the coming years. By 2020, the brand is looking to offer up to 60 different models, including three additional members of the Q family; the Q1, the Q8 and a sporty SUV with electric drive.
The latter could eventually be labelled Q6. With all these new models in place, Audi will have a comprehensive range of SUVs by 2020.
