After launching the R8 V10 in January, Audi has now brought in the R8 Spyder. The Ingolstadt based manufacturer has been doing some serious catching up with its German rival as the R8 Spyder is the third launch this year. The R8 Spyder costs Rs 1,47,22,000 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra) and will be available at all the Audi dealership outlets in India from April 2011.
The Audi R8 Spyder comes with a 5.2 FSI engine which churns out 525bhp of power at 8000rpm and comes with R Tronic six-speed sequential transmission as an option. With this launch, Audi now offers all the variants of the R8 in the Indian market.
