Audi India has launched the Q3 compact crossover rather silently ranging between 26.21 to 31.41 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. Only 500 cars will be available for the first round of bookings.
The striking new compact SUV will have the Audi 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine developing 177BHP and 380 NM torque. The capable and fuel efficient engine is mated to the S-tronic automatic transmission and will offer the Quattro four wheel drive system on the car.
The car will compete with its arch rival, the X1 along with the Volvo XC60 and the Evoque. Audi is keen to repeat the Q7 and Q5 success stories in the Indian market on their way to be the market leader in the luxury car segment.
