Audi India has introduced a new aftersales scheme called ‘Lifetime Value Service’ to boost the customer experience in the country. Under this first-in-segment scheme, Audi is offering various benefits to the customers such as extended warranty up to seven years, roadside assistance up to 11 years, and a host of flexible service plans which can be availed up to eight years of car ownership in India.
Under the Audi Topservice CarLife products, the German carmaker is offering a variety of time and mileage options along with a range of various products for customers, depending on their driving habits. All the active extended warranty customers can top-up their warranty till the seventh year within 15 days after the standard extended warranty expires, provided the odometer reading is less than or equal to one lakh kilometres.
For the customers with no active warranties, Audi is offering a one year extended warranty under ‘anytime extended warranty’ scheme. These customers can buy the one year extended warranty from the third year onwards until the sixth year of ownership. The only covenants are – Odometer reading should be less than one lakh kilometres, the evaluation process has been completed and the car has been maintained as per the Audi India guidelines. What’s more, customers can also opt for various service plans based on their year of ownership. The ‘comprehensive service plan’, meanwhile, can be bought until the 20th month of the purchase which covers all component failures (excluding tyres and batteries).
