Audi India has sold 10,851 units in 2014 marking the second consecutive year that it has managed to sell over 10,000 units in a calendar year. It has also managed to sell 3,044 units from October to December 2014 as compared to 2,611 units in the corresponding period in 2013, marking a 17 per cent increase and making this one of its best quarterly sales figures ever.
The Ingolstadt-based automaker introduced a variety of new products like the A3 sedan and Cabriolet, RS7 sportback and the 2015 A8 L which brought the matrix headlight technology to the Indian market. The company also opened new showrooms in Udaipur, Visakhapatnam, Nashik and Kozhikode in 2014 and also inaugurated the country’s largest pre-owned luxury car showroom, ‘Audi Approved: plus’ in Gurgaon in April.
Audi has already announced that it has planned a 10 product onslaught for the Indian market in 2015 as well as more showrooms across the country.
