Audi’s internationally renowned event, the Twin Cup was introduced in India three years ago. This year Audi India successfully conducted their third edition of the Twin Cup in Delhi recently.
The finals of the championship took place for two days in the capital. Six teams, each from service and technical section, participated from all over India. The team from Mumbai showed perfection in customer service and won the first prize in Service category. The Hyderabad team was placed second in the same category. Audi’s Ludhiana team displaying excellence in the technical department topped the Technology category with the team from Chennai securing second position.
Audi has been organising the Twin Cup annually all over the globe since 1996. Representatives from different Audi dealerships associated with the company take part in the activities held during the Twin Cup. They are required to possess an exceptional amount of technical knowledge combined with systematic customer orientation. Participants, who could exhibit such qualities, while finding solutions to faults in vehicles as a team and responding to customers with marvelous personal skills, emerged victorious.
Joe King, Audi India Head, while handing over the trophies to winners, said, “The Audi Twin Cup underlines our customer centric approach and our constant endeavor to enhance our unparalleled service offerings. World-class service is increasingly becoming a deciding factor for customers and is the key to our success. At Audi, we demonstrate our premium services by keeping the customer at the center of everything we do. This initiative gives our Audi partners, who are committed to providing excellent services, with an ideal platform to demonstrate their expertise and efficiency.”
He further added, “We are very pleased with the quality of technical knowledge demonstrated. Our technology and service teams scored well in an Audi AG moderated framework, which means that they were evaluated on the same level as other markets internationally. This exceptional performance in such a challenging environment is truly commendable. This initiative helped us to elevate the technicians’ importance and role in contributing to the success of Audi in India. This recognition we believe, will be one of the pillars to support our Audi partners to motivate their talented technical staff.”
Audi India showed an increment of 13.31 per cent this year. The company targets to sell 10,000 cars by end of this year. With so many Audi cars in the Indian market the automaker doesn’t want their customers to face any shortcomings and thus is heavily investing in after sales service.
