Audi inaugurates second showroom in Rajasthan

Audi has opened a new showroom in Udaipur. This is the second showroom in Rajasthan- the Jaipur dealership being the first one. All cars from Audi’s Indian portfolio will be sold to customers in this ‘City of Lakes’.

The new facility is located on the Ahmedabad road and is spread over an area of 10,000 sqft. This area includes both the display area and the workshop.  Apart from the cars on display at the showroom, Audi Udaipur will also sell different Audi merchandise through the in-house Audi Shop.

The workshop boasts of three bays and a reception. There is a body shop and paint shop as well. This workshop has a capacity of servicing five cars everyday with technicians working in a single shift. Kamal Autotech Pvt. Ltd. will make sure the quality of service provided at this service facility is up to Audi’s world-class treatment.

Joe King, Head, Audi India, present at the inauguration said, “Audi as a brand resonates the richness and grandeur that Udaipur and Rajasthan stand for. Audi India is the only German luxury car maker to have opened two showrooms in Rajasthan. This reflects our seriousness about the Rajasthan market, which is significant in our growth strategy. We are further sprucing up our efforts to bring our sporty, progressive and sophisticated product line-up, innovative customer-connect initiatives and superior after-sales service closer to our customers in Rajasthan.”

With 36 such facilities all over India till now, the German luxury car manufacturer plans to extend its dealer network to 40 by the end of this year. Audi, the Ingolstadt-based automaker, has its foothold over 100 markets all over the world and manufacturing facilities in many of these countries. In India it produces vehicles from its Aurangabad plant in Maharashtra.
