Audi has opened a new showroom in Ranchi. This is the first showroom in Jharkhand and the carmaker plans to expand its reach in the eastern part of India with the new dealership where all cars from Audi’s Indian portfolio will be sold.
The new facility is located on the Purulia Road PS and is spread over an area of 12,000 sqft. This area includes both the display area and the workshop. Apart from the cars on display at the showroom, Audi Ranchi will also sell different Audi merchandise through the in-house Audi Shop.
The workshop boasts of three bays and a reception. There is a body shop and paint shop as well. This workshop has a capacity of servicing six cars everyday with technicians working in a single shift on a total of three bays. Mohan Motors (P) Ltd. will make sure the quality of service provided at this service facility is up to Audi’s world-class treatment.

Audi India plans to open dealerships in other key locations including Madurai and Rajkot in order to penetrate deeper into the higher demand luxury car markets in India. The manufacturer produces vehicles from its Aurangabad plant in Maharashtra which are then sold all over the country. The Ingolstadt-based carmaker has its foothold over 100 markets all over the world and manufacturing facilities in many of these countries. This year Audi is in its seventh successive year of growth in India. Last year, it became the first luxury car manufacturer to achieve sales of 10,000 units annually.
