- To get virtual mirror

- Driving range of approximately 400kms
German car manufacturer, Audi, has revealed the interior for its promising electric SUV, the e-tron. The most interesting highlight which caught our attention, are the five screens. The new OLED screens can be seen in the form of a fully digital instrument cluster, the infotainment system, and a touchscreen which is mounted lower on the center console for the climate control settings, which is also seen in higher range Audi A8, Q8, A7, and the A6.
The conventional mirror will be replaced by seven-inch OLED screens below the window which will project images with the help of a camera and act like a virtual mirror. Although it might take a while to get used to the new technology, it does take care of the blind spot issues that came with the standard model.
The Audi e-tron is powered by a pair of electric motors which generate 350bhp of power and is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in under six seconds with a top speed of 200kmph. Switching to the Sport mode will offer a temporary boost in performance with 397bhp of power. The 95kWh battery offers a driving range of approximately 400kms. The batteries take about 8.5 hours for a full charge via a 400-volt three-phase outlet, while the pack can be recharged in just 30 minutes using a 150-kW high-voltage charger.
