Audi has introduced a host of tech-driven new-age solutions for customers as well as its dealer partners under its Digitalization strategy announced in August 2019. The German car manufacturer claims that a customer experiences digitalization right from his first contact with the Audi brand and it continues throughout his/her journey as an Audi family member.
The digitalization initiatives include connected car technology through the ‘myAudi Connect’ app which allows customers to access various features like safety and security, driver’s behavior, lifestyle, geolocation and utility. Some of the key features include – live location and trip planning, boundary settings and curfew settings, vehicle health, infotainment on the go, point of interest, tow alert, and disturbance alert. The app also gets the walk to my car feature to find the car in parking along with other features like SOS and Road Side Assistance, service booking, service history and more.
The Audi VR experience was launched as the first fully functional Virtual Reality application for customer consultation at Audi dealerships as well as location of customer’s choice. The company claims that it offers a realistic experience of their individually configured car. Additionally, the Audi shop claims to bring the best of Audi to the customers. The customer can place an online order and get their favorite Audi Merchandise delivered across India. This includes a host of merchandise options including clothes, watches, bags, wallets, cases, and gifts including scale model cars.
