Audi India today announced the pricing for the A8L. Audi's very first offering this year will bear a price tag ranging from 89 lakh - 1.27 crore. We drove this four-door, luxury sedan recently and gave you our first impressions about the car and we certainly thought that the car was worth putting your hard earned money on.
The A8L will be priced so:89 lakh for the 4.2FSI78 lakh for the 3.0TDI and 1.27crore for the W12 ( all prices ex-showroom Mumbai)The body of this light car is made of aluminum Audi Space Frame (ASF), weighing about 40% less than a comparable steel structure. It also boasts of optional LED headlights. The A8 has been the company's flagship model since its inception in 1994 and to start off a new year in India with an A8L just goes ahead to show the interest that the company has managed to generate in the country. The A8L will compete with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 7-series here. With new cars in the pipeline, expansion plans in the offing, Audi is all set for another stint in the Indian car market.
