Audi Japan has revealed an ultra-exclusive model of the A8. With only five units to be built, this new model is called the A8 L Chauffeur special edition and features several updates both for the exterior and the interior.
Based on the standard A8 L facelift, the Chauffeur special edition gets new 20-inch alloy wheels. While inside the cabin, Audi has implemented a Marble Gray theme. The car also gets a bar compartment placed between the two individual rear seats.
Underneath the long hood rests a 4-litre, V8 engine producing 435bhp of power and 600Nm of torque. All that power is transmitted to the road via Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system.
The A8 L Chauffeur special edition is now on sale in Japan. Like in most Asian markets, specially built long wheelbase cars are in huge demand among luxury car buyers. Besides Audi, BMW and Volvo are two other luxury carmakers known for making Asia-specific long wheelbase cars.
