Audi has launched the new A8 at Design Miami on 30th November 2009. The new A8 like the old A8 features the aluminum construction and quattro differential to power all wheels whenever required.
The new A8 has an 8-speed tiptronic transmission and Audi claims the new aluminum spaceframe to be 24% more rigid. The new Audi A8 sports all-LED headlights, touch screen Multi-Media Interface with satellite navigation and adaptive dynamic system with optional sports differential.
The LED headlamps on the A8 will alter the light with the feedback from the navigation system which will be linked with it for better visibility. Some international variants' transmission will also be connected to the navigation system for shifting gears for better control and fuel efficiency. The Audi A8 will land on Indian shores by 2010.
