A facelift for the Audi A7 Sportback seems to be around the corner. Spy pictures that have surfaced online give us this indication. By the looks of it, Audi may be revamping the vehicle with loads of changes to the exterior. Unfortunately, since the pictures are of the rear only, not many details could be gauged.
Starting with what was visible, we see a bright stop lamp mounted high above the rear windscreen and it spreads across the width of the car. The new exhaust tips of the car seem to be more integrated, while the car also gets revised tail lamps.
The Audi A7 Sportback displays numerous qualities combining the elegance of a coupe, the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of a station wagon. With these changes, we can expect Audi to be thinking on giving it a fresher look and eventually increase the demand for the car. The changes could also mimic features that can be seen on the recently facelifted Audi A8 sedan.
In addition to this, by powering the A7 with an improved engine, tweaking the exteriors and interiors and packing it with loads of features, the carmaker hopes to beat competition from the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe and the Mercedes-Benz CLS.
