Having comprehensively updated its A6 sedan last year, Audi has refreshed its A6 and A7 models even further to help it keep up with fresher competition. Apart from the subtle changes to the outside, there is new equipment on offer inside.
The updated cars get new front-end styling, side sills, rear bumpers and rear diffusers that look much sharper than the existing models. The spruced up interior features LED ambient lighting and new trim options to go along with the expanded range of exterior colours and wheel choices. The infotainment system has been upgraded as well. Audi’s MMI is now available with the option of Apple Car Play or Android Auto. Both cars get heated and electric seats up front and there are tablets mounted to the front seatbacks to keep rear seat passengers entertained.
The updates have been applied not only to the base A6 and A7 models but also to the S6 and S7 performance models. Audi has confirmed that these updates won’t affect the price, which is a boon. The updated cars are currently for sale only in Europe but are expected to be launched in India later this year.
