British sports car brand Aston Martin has prepared not one but two very special edition models of the V8 Vantage and the DB9, for the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The brand will showcase the special edition models alongside the Rapide S four-door sports sedan and the new Vanquish Volante.
The special edition V8 Vantage carries the N430 nameplate, and will be available in coupe and roadster form. At its heart lies a 4.7-litre V8 engine which puts out around 435bhp. No surprise, then, that the V8 Vantage N430 is capable of accelerating from zero to 100kmph in 4.6 seconds and onwards to a top speed of over 300kmph.
The V8 Vantage N430 celebrates Aston Martin’s sporting heritage and motorsport success; which is why the car has gone through countless hours of testing at circuits around the globe, including the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Besides the V8 Vantage N430, Aston Martin will also showcase the dramatically conceived DB9 in Carbon Black and Carbon White special editions. Design upgrades for both Carbon Black and Carbon White editions include carbon fibre side strakes and black window surrounds. Inside, in the cabin, bespoke sill plaques with the Carbon Black or Carbon White logo proclaim the cars’ rarity.
With the addition of the special edition models based on the V8 Vantage and the DB9, Aston Martin will be showcasing a total of eight cars at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
