- 6.5-litre V12 with 1130bhp will be the most powerful naturally aspirated engine
- Engine will be made by Cosworth
The upcoming hypercar from Aston Martin, the Valkyrie, has already been making news since it was announced and now the company has let out the best info yet. Along with the engine maker, Cosworth they announced that the Valkyrie will make an insane 1130bhp making it the most powerful naturally aspirated car for the road. Cosworth announced on Twitter that they are famous for breaking records and their latest engine nestled inside the Valkyrie will be the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine for road use.
The 1130bhp, V12 will be one of many factors leading to F1-like track times, particularly in the Valkyrie AMR Pro. In fact, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner believes the car could topple Porsche's Nurburgring record recently set with the 919 Evo. Aston Martin plans to build 175 examples of the supercar, of which 25 will be AMR Pro variants. Prices as expected are some ridiculous numbers and even then, all the cars are already sold out.
