Known for making speciality models of what are already perceived to be special cars, Aston Martin has unveiled a convertible version of its Vanquish Zagato. Priced at over Rs 4.3 crore (500,000 GBP) only 99 units will be produced.
Firstly, motivation for this two-seat affair comes from a 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V8 that produces 592bhp and an equally crazy amount of torque. This has given it a 0-100kmph time of 3.7 seconds!
As the lengthy and rather opulent name suggests this car is all about class. It is low, long and has all the Aston Martin hallmarks like the grille, headlamps and to keep things modern the tail lamps from the Vulcan supercar. It’s a similar story for the cabin which gets a combination of carbon fibre and beige leather all around.
Needless to say that Aston Martin would have managed to sell every unit of this car before even revealing it to the public possibly to existing owners as well as new ones.
