You don’t generally associate beauty with station wagons, but one look at the new Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake will change that opinion. With just 99 examples to be built, the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake drops jaws with its swoopy extended roofline extending into a fast-backed tailgate. The two-seat hatchback incorporates Zagato’s double bubble’ roof design, and makes extensive use of glass panels to let light flood into the cabin. The Shooting Brake also comes with its own tailored luggage set. There’s also a powered tailgate for ease-of-use, and front occupants are treated to a herringbone carbon-fibre fascia with anodized bronze rotary controls on the centre console.
Powering the car is the same 6.0 litre V12 with 604Bhp and 630Nm of torque. All that grunt is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission. Production of the Zagato Shooting Brake is due to commence in 2018, with 99 units slated for production.
