This is probably one of the most striking race cars ever to grace the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans field. Meet the unique Vantage GTE racer designed by artist Tobias Rehberger. Aston says this special treatment gives the Vantage GTE the illusion of movement and speed, even when static.
Aston Martin invited Rehberger to design a livery that would work with the Gulf Vantage GTE’s lines and colours in a way never attempted before. As a result, the design of the art car comprises of geometric shapes and patterns to give the car the impression of movement and speed.
The artwork was commissioned by the owner of car who has long-admired the work of the German artist and was interested to see how he could manipulate the appearance of the race car that is based on the Vantage road car.
