- Set to make a debut in 2019

Every manufacturer knows that SUV's are a trending segment the world over and everyone from Suzuki to Lamborghini is making one. Aston Martin had announced its plans too with the DBX all set to make its debut in 2019. But till that happens, they intend to develop an all-new platform for the upcoming SUV.
According to recent reports, the new platform will be based on the other cars but will have a lot more suspension technology going into it in a bit to keep the big dimensions in check. Amongst other information gathered, the car will retain extruded and bonded aluminum construction which is used in the other Aston Martin exotics. However, while 2015's DBX concept featured an electric powertrain, the production SUV will not. However, while the DBX concept featured an electric powertrain, the production SUV will not. Instead it will get a conventional engine and maybe a hybrid option.
Expect the car to make it to Indian shores as well considering almost all luxury SUV's are already present in the Indian Market.
