What we are looking at here is Aston Martin’s new interpretation of the DB11-range-topping Vanquish. The prototype was snapped undergoing brutal speed tests at the bumpy German Nurburgring race circuit.
Exterior revisions over other models of the DB11-range include different bumpers at the front and rear, wider sills and completely different head and tail lights.
The new super GT is tentatively slated for a reveal later next year or early 2019. Power will come from Aston Martin’s 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12. The engine returns 600bhp in the DB11 but will deliver significantly more in the Vanquish as the car’s main rival will be the 789bhp Ferrari 812 Superfast.
The new Vanquish’s other rivals include the Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe and Bentley Continental GT Speed.
