Aston Martin introduces its fifth car, the limited edition Vanquish Zagato Coupe in collaboration with popular design house Zagato. The new car is a by-product of the company’s five-decade old collaboration with the design house. For exclusivity, the company has restricted the Vanquish Zagato Coupe to only 99 units, which will be built at the Aston Martin facility in Gaydon, England.
Under the hood the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Coupe gets a tweaked 6.0L V12 engine which generates a powerful 592bhp. The Vanquish Zagato Coupe clocks a 0-100kmph in just about 3.5 seconds. The car gets a unique suspension setup which offers a GT driving experience.
As for the design aspect, the Aston Martin limited edition Vanquish Zagato Coupe gets some cues from the concept which was exhibited at Villa d'Este. Use of large one-piece panels have been reduced with the new carbon-fibre body design. The car gets the iconic 'double-bubble' designed roof and a shallow radius design dipping into the rear window for that sporty appeal. The large grille with sporty headlamps gives it a distinctive identity.
The interior looks premium with high quality leather upholstery and rich material quality vents and rotary dials. For unique quotient, the car gets a ‘Z’ quilt pattern stitching on the seat and the door sections. It also features the celebrated trademark Zagato ‘Z’ embossed on headrests and is also stitched into the centre console.
