Aston Martin has been officially launched in India, and its first dealership is now operational in Mumbai’s Kemp’s Corner. As per the current plan, the second dealership will be opened in Delhi by this May. The Aston Martin range will be available between a price band of Rs 1.35crore to Rs 2.75crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The entire range of Aston Martin which includes all its cars like the V8 Vantage Coupe, V8 Vantage Roadster, V12 Vantage, DB9 Coupe, DB9 Volante, DBS Coupe, DBS Volante, V8 Vantage S, Virage and the four-door sports car; Rapide will be available in India except for the Cygnet. The company plans to sell about 30 cars in its first year of which close to 20 are already sold and are running on Indian roads. The limited edition Aston Martin One-77 (only 77 of which are made) is also offered on sale in India with a price tag of about Rs 20 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
Aston Martin’s Chief Commercial Officer, Michael van der Sande said, “India represents a new opportunity for us and as part of our programme of growing the reach of the global Aston Martin dealership network this expansion brings our brand to a different audience in a new market.
