Aston Martin’s achingly gorgeous GT offering, the DB11, will get a more powerful and sportier version in the form of the DB11 S.
The British carmaker, in fact, is preparing this S version, as seen in these spy shots of a prototype running in the snow. Out goes the British understatement of the DB11 – no spoilers, no wide sills, no diffusor, civil sound and in its place is a more aggressive front and grille with a huge spoiler, wider sills and a track-influenced rear diffusor underneath a reshaped bumper.
Also new will be the shape of the air outlets in the front wings and a roaring sound that originates from a tuned version of the 5.2-litre V12 under the bonnet. The engine is expected to dish out around 30bhp over the standard DB11.
Stay tuned for more details on this more potent version of the DB11 in the coming months.
