Aston Martin announces DBS Ultimate

In keeping with tradition, Aston Martin will offer an 'Ultimate' edition of the DBS before launching its replacement. The Ultimate edition is a very limited edition of the DBS that will have special badging, a painted rear spoiler, carbon-fiber wing mirrors, a darkened grille, smoked tail-lamps Zircotec-coated tail pipes and yellow, black or red brake callipers. Sounds like something a James Bond/Batman hybrid hero would drive, doesn't it? You can choose to have a black car, or a silver one. You can also choose to have a hardtop or a convertible, and both a manual and automatic gearbox are options. No word yet on what the power figure will be, but if the Vanquish Ultimate is any yardstick, expect a lip-smacking bump in peak power. 

Aston Martin celebrates its 100th anniversary next year, and it will launch the DBS's replacement as part of the celebrations.
