> Slated to reach Indian shores in 2019
> May be considered for the RS treatment
Pictures of Honda’s all-new Brio have been released at the ongoing GIIAS show in Indonesia. We’ve already covered that the new Brio is based on the Honda Small RS Concept which was previewed earlier this year.
There’s no doubt that the new car has more character than the outgoing model, especially in the RS form. This is due to the snazzy paint shade, angular body panels, sporty spoilers and other sharp design cues. Based on how the RS trim gains traction, Honda may just as well consider using this model for our market since it can bring in some much needed sales.
As of now, the interiors and specifications are to be revealed later today. Currently, the 1.2-litre, 89bhp i-VTEC engine powers the Brio with the choice of a five-speed manual or a CVT transmission. Stay tuned to CarWale today for the details.
