Allison Transmission Inc. supplied automatic transmissions for 600 low floor buses which were used during the Commonwealth Games (CWG) in New Delhi. Allison Transmission has worked with Tata Motors to deliver buses which provided transportation to officials, athletes, press, and spectators in Delhi.

The DTC had recently added over 2600 Allison-equipped Tata Marcopolo Low-floor CNG powered buses and about 700 Ashok Leyland Low-Floor CNG buses to its fleet. Several cities and airport authorities across the country are modernizing their fleets of buses. Allison is helping Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to deliver efficient, comfortable and clean public transport.
