The ongoing Monaco Grand Prix is playing host to the public debut of the latest-gen Renault Megane RS. The French hot hatch, as we know, competes with the likes of VW Golf GTI and the Toyota GT 86.
Unlike the Clio RS, the new Megane RS will be offered with a choice of both manual and dual-clutch transmissions.
Renault Sport F1 team driver Nico Hulkenberg offered a glimpse of the new Megane RS on the track at Monaco. Since the launch of the original Megane RS in 2004, the model has had plenty of success in Europe in the full size hot hatch segment. Now, the 2017 model will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12, before going on sale next year.
